Privacy and your data
Free browser demo · Updated October 7, 2026
Poker Gym lets you practice without signing up. The demo has no checkout, payment collection, advertising scripts or gameplay analytics. Your decisions are evaluated on your device; they are not sent to a training server or AI service. The host counts page visits per day and which link (ref) they came from. No IPs, cookies, or personal data are stored. Your game data never leaves your device.
What stays in your browser
The game saves your chosen class, experience, badges, lessons, practice accuracy, recent sessions and mistake notebook in this browser’s local storage. Session dates and review/retry counts are part of that save. Your sound preference is saved separately. These records are not linked to a cloud account or synced between devices.
The live game also downloads game files into a browser cache for offline practice. Saves and cached files remain until you or your browser remove them. Storage may be unavailable in private browsing or embedded games; the game displays a warning when it cannot save progress.
Keep or remove your progress
- To keep a copy, open Back up / restore progress in the game and choose Prepare backup. Copy the text into a private file or note. This does not upload it. A backup includes your profile, records and mistake notebook; avoid posting it publicly.
- To remove this browser’s saved progress, sound preference and offline download, close Poker Gym tabs and use your browser’s site-data controls to clear data for the address where you played. For the live demo, that is
playpokergym.com(orpokergym.history-atlas.workers.devif you played at the older address; each address keeps its own separate save). Browser menus differ; look for site settings, storage or site data. Clearing data removes your local save and offline access. Reopening online can download the game again. - Delete any backup copies separately if you no longer want them. Clearing browser data cannot delete a copy you saved elsewhere. Removing a home-screen shortcut alone may leave browser data behind.
On another host or in an embedded portable demo, data belongs to that host’s browser storage. Use that host’s site-data controls. The game cannot recover cleared progress without a backup you kept.
Feedback is your choice
The feedback form prepares an email draft on your device. Nothing is sent automatically. If you send it, the recipient receives the answers and note you reviewed, along with your email address and any information your email service includes. The feedback recipient is wesleympennock@gmail.com. Use that address for questions about feedback you sent or to request its removal; do not include a save backup or sensitive details.
GitHub feedback is optional, public and requires a GitHub account. Preparing feedback sends nothing. Opening the GitHub draft sends your reviewed answers and note to GitHub in the link, which may remain in browser history; you must submit it yourself to publish a new issue. No player profile, scores or save backup is included. You can also copy the draft into the existing feedback thread. GitHub handles account and posted information under its own policies. Use GitHub’s controls to manage your public posts. The game’s invitation text contains only the public demo link and description, without your scores or profile.
Online hosting and external links
The live demo is hosted by Cloudflare. Loading it online sends ordinary web requests, including your IP address and requested URLs, to the hosting service. Hosting may process technical request information for delivery, security and diagnostics. Local progress is not included in those requests. This page does not claim that hosting is anonymous or that request logs have a verified deletion period. The visit counter itself stores only the date, the page (landing or game) and a link label from a fixed list; it stores no IP address, user agent or cookie.
Links to GitHub and email open services outside Poker Gym. Their handling of your information is separate from the game. A portable copy may be hosted by someone else with different hosting practices.
This describes the current free demo. Accounts, cloud sync or paid subscriptions would require updated disclosures before launch. It does not establish app-store approval.
